As a core part of our business strategy, IT is essential to our continuous growth and transformation. Our talented team of more than 250 supports a highly complex global technical environment, yet this is a setting where personal relationships matter as much as technical skills.
While providing high-quality technical solutions and support, we are committed to the engagement and growth of our IT associates. This dedication has resulted in our recognition among Computerworld’s Best Places to Work in IT for four years running. Here is why:
Major Impact: Our work is challenging and diverse in nature, and you’ll have direct access to IT and corporate leadership, so you can have a voice in important decisions.
Top Technologies: With an infrastructure focused on Microsoft and Cisco technologies, we use such core platforms as Dynamics, Salesforce, Workday, and Peoplesoft.
Advancement Potential: In all areas of IT, we often promote from within as opportunities arise and encourage our team members to grow and develop throughout their careers at Baird.
Strong Support: Properly recognized and rewarded, our teams enjoy the career flexibility, professional-development resources, and career-changing projects that great talent deserves.
Tech Community Involvement: Our work moves Baird forward, but we continue giving back to the technical community and encourage our associates to join technical associations that support IT learning and development.
Location, Location, Location: While many of our associates work at our Milwaukee HQ, we are also growing our talent base in Madison, WI; and Louisville, KY.
Actual Fun: We believe you should enjoy coming to work, so we’ve created a setting where you can connect with colleagues through lunch n’ learns, solution-a-thons, food competitions, and giving back to the community.
“I am a boomerang. I started in 2012 and another opportunity came up in 2014, so I left. Quite honestly, the grass wasn’t as green on the other side, and that’s when I remembered the values that Baird has. That’s what brought me back. I missed the culture, the values and the people.”
