We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join the IRA team to perform advanced functions necessary to acquire, distribute and maintain IRA and Qualified Retirement Plan assets. The Specialist performs a wide variety of tasks and needs to be self-motivated and work independently.

As an Account Transactions Specialist, you will:
  • Handles various advanced stages of the IRA/retirement function.
  • Enters data for periodic distribution payments, tax withholding and cash and stock movements.
  • Assists supervisor and others as requested.
  • Reviews transaction requests for completeness of documents and suitability and processes all paperwork and documents necessary to distribute IRA and Qualified Plan assets to client and bank accounts.
  • Accepts requests for processing, acquires additional information or rejects requests and issues check per written instructions.
  • Processes requests. This may involve mathematical calculations, review of documents, preparation of records for data entry/other departments or other oral or written communication.
  • Reviews reports pertinent to the status of ongoing activities; initiates corrections as necessary.
  • Provides oral and written communications to acquire or disperse information, answers questions from sales and operations personnel regarding procedures or basic retirement plan issues.
  • Follows up on paperwork submitted.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

What we look for:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 2+ years of experience in a financial services operations role is a plus. Prior customer service experience and banking experience preferred.
  • SIE and Series 99 within 120 days of hire as role processes cash or security movements.
  • Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments; work under pressure and within deadlines to produce accurate, high-quality results.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, monitor, and complete multiple tasks or projects, either independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must, with the ability to effectively relate to work in a team-oriented setting.
  • Passion for providing high-value client service.
