The Transition Team Manager will develop and deliver programs and processes to ensure a best-in-class integration experience to new associates hired into the business unit. This Transition Team Manager will manage the work of the Transition Team and collaborate with PWM’s FA Recruiting team, Human Resources, Professional Development, in addition to working closely with PWM Leadership, Market Directors and Branch leadership on a daily basis. A heavy emphasis will be placed on the integration for new Financial Advisors (FAs) and Client Specialists (CSs) transitioning into Baird. This manager may participate in the onboarding of PWM Leadership hires made outside the traditional FA cycle.
As a Transition Team Manager, you will:
Solicit ongoing feedback from individuals who have transitioned to Baird to learn from their experiences and refine integration approach for the future.
Work closely with Transition Team , and other Wealth Solutions Group and CRG partner to determine and ensure that proper training takes place for new associates post-transition training/onboarding needs of new associates joining PWM.
Work with Market Directors and Administrative Supervisors/Managers to ensure a smooth on boarding experience for FAs and CSs and proper expectations are set and met.
Working closely with Human Resources, responsible for the development and delivery of on boarding plans for select PWM hires including Branch Managers, Market Directors, Business Development Consultants, and other Sales Management hires.
Engages the applicable CRG Groups in the process and throughout the onboarding experience, guides their activities at the appropriate time to ensure the plans are delivered.
Provides and/or organizes set up of branch files, processes and related training surrounding branch operations and compliance.
Provides leadership to the remote and Milwaukee based associates through the direct management of Transition Team Works to set priorities and goals for the broader team and ensure needs of the business are being met. Coordinates team transitions.
Assigns additional workload and duties to team when there are no transitions such as Client Specialist or Recruiting.
Ensure members of PWM Leadership are well informed and issues are escalated as appropriate.
What we look for:
Industry experience and Series 7/66 license required along with experience managing branch support, operations or transitions. Baird experience is a plus.
Ability to manage peak workloads, multiple projects and produce results with accuracy and reliability. Ability to demonstrate a calm demeanor and retain composure in stressful situations.
Strong commitment to provide exceptional customer service.
Exceptional computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and mail merges. Ability to learn specific industry software Thomson ONE, BetaLink, BETAHost, and digital onboarding tool.
Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively exchange ideas and information to a wide variety of audiences in a professional manner.
Excellent organizational skills - ability to prioritize daily workflow to effectively meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision and respond quickly to unplanned events.
Willingness and ability to travel 50-75%, depending on PWM needs, work extended hours, and attend corporate sponsored functions as required.
