Baird is continuing to grow and we are excited to add a Fixed Income Capital Markets Coordinator to our team! If you are hardworking and detail oriented, this is the role for you! The ideal candidate will have a team-oriented approach while performing critical deal processing tasks. This role requires a willingness to learn and the ability to think critically about multiple and diverse functions within the team.
As a Fixed Income Capital Markets Coordinator, you will:
Maintain and update general marketing materials used throughout the year including department biographies, scheduling headshots and red book publication updates.
Schedule and administer conference calls and WebEx presentations as needed. Distribute recurring marketing materials to department.
Leverage external platforms to gather market materials including rankings, notifications, ratings, etc. Create deal tombstones.
Maintain central repository including general Baird information, case studies, RFP responses, etc.
Process expenses, conference registrations and maintain marketing budgets.
Deposit checks into lockbox, prepare and send invoices and monitor open Accounts Receivables.
Prepare, update, and finalize production reports for Public Finance working with the team. Manage expense and revenue estimates throughout life of deal.

What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of industry experience.
Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook with an emphasis on Excel knowledge and training. Ability to learn specific industry software.
Excellent grammar, editing and proofing skills required. Attention to detail and positive can-do attitude a must.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, often under pressure and/or short deadlines.
Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed to ensure work is completed in a timely fashion and deal process is seamless.
Ability to tolerate peak workloads, multiple assignments and produce results with accuracy and reliability. Ability to initiate action and work independently on most tasks.
