Baird is continuing to grow and we are excited to add a Fixed Income Capital Markets Coordinator to our team! If you are hardworking and detail oriented, this is the role for you! The ideal candidate  will have a team-oriented approach while performing critical deal processing tasks. This role requires a willingness to learn and the ability to think critically about multiple and diverse functions within the team.   

As a Fixed Income Capital Markets Coordinator, you will:

  • Maintain and update general marketing materials used throughout the year including department biographies, scheduling headshots and red book publication updates.

  • Schedule and administer conference calls and WebEx presentations as needed.  Distribute recurring marketing materials to department.

  • Leverage external platforms to gather market materials including rankings, notifications, ratings, etc.  Create deal tombstones.

  • Maintain central repository including general Baird information, case studies, RFP responses, etc.

  • Process expenses, conference registrations and maintain marketing budgets.

  • Deposit checks into lockbox, prepare and send invoices and monitor open Accounts Receivables.

  • Prepare, update, and finalize production reports for Public Finance working with the team.  Manage expense and revenue estimates throughout life of deal.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of industry experience.

  • Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook with an emphasis on Excel knowledge and training.  Ability to learn specific industry software.

  • Excellent grammar, editing and proofing skills required.  Attention to detail and positive can-do attitude a must.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, often under pressure and/or short deadlines.

  • Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed to ensure work is completed in a timely fashion and deal process is seamless.

  • Ability to tolerate peak workloads, multiple assignments and produce results with accuracy and reliability.  Ability to initiate action and work independently on most tasks.
